Classes Offered
Playmania offers a variety of age appropriate classes. Please see our Hours for times or see our Schedule for today's activities.
Art
Our art classes are designed as a creative outlet for children. PlayMania encourages children to use the art class as a medium to learn socialization and fine motor skills. The emphasis is on the process of doing the activity and not the final project. Art classes vary weekly and you can sign up for multiple sessions at a discount or pay for one session each visit. Each class is 30 minutes and includes unlimited open play for that class day.
Music
Our music classes offer learning, fitness and fun to enhance your child’s growth and development. Each 30 minute class features music for your child to move and dance along. Many classes will include active play with items such as bean bags, rhythm sticks, and insturments.
PlayDough
Our fun filled 30 minute class features multiple dough colors and many different tools to play with, including shapes, numbers and letters to cut out. As well as, rolling, cutting, squishing, molding and many other activities and tools.
Food Craft
Each class features a different edible project. The crafts include oreo butterflies, flowers with ritz crackers, cookie oysters and many others.
Dance
Classes are a combination of ballet, jazz, and neat dance moves. Classes are 30 min of instructed time and includes open play before or after class. Classes are on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm. Please call PlayMania at 813-649-8919 to sign up.
Pottery
This is a new class offered and is a 2 part class. On the first class, children will mold the clay to make the pottery. The second class will take place the next week after the pottery has been kiln fired. The children will then paint their pottery during the second class.. This class will be taught by The Pottery Place, a mobile paint your own pottery studio. If you are interested in this class call PlayMania today at 813-649-8919.
